ART
Periodically we feature work from new and established contemporary artists.
Here below an Art installation from British-born Chinese artist King Yu Yiu.
King's work is based on contemporary topics depicted with ancient Chinese techniques.
In this installation King used the age-old artistry of Chinese display boards with tongue-in-cheek messages derived from contemporary tattoos, alluding to the fact that sometimes the wearers are ignorant of the actual meaning of the hieroglyphics.
